GTX 560 Ti crashing on games

hi.

so i recently bought an asus gtx 560 ti and ive been having problems.

firstly, the drivers arent installing, because the nvidia installer keeps saying there is something else installing when there isnt.

secondly, i can only play red faction II, and arma 1, not even gmod or hl2.

WHY???

plz help ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD HELP!

Try running this uninstaller to get rid of any old gfx drivers you may have had: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/550192/geforce-drivers/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-v12-9-3-4-released-06-09-14-/
Then run CCleaner and do the Clean and Registry portions both: https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER
Then try installing the latest gfx driver again. http://www.geforce.com/drivers

Thanks, clutchc, i will not be at my computer for a few weeks because of other things, but i will check. very quick as well.

UPDATE: sorry, i forgot to mention, it seems to just not have the power to run newer games (GMOD and over)
any help?
