Hi I just received the HP Phoenix Envy 810-170st from a friend (He received it after his office shut down and gave it to me because he already has a better PC) and I had a question about upgrading the graphics card. Currently there is only a gt 640 and I would like to upgrade, but I don't know if a card will be compatible with this prebuilt PC. I would like a card in the Gtx 770's price range if indeed that card will not work.

Specs of this PC:

GPU I was looking at:

-Thanks in advance for helping a newbie like me

You should have an i7 processor with that set up. If you have an i7, getting a GTX770 is a great choice. :) There will be no bottlenecks of the graphics card and processor.

Thank you for your response. Yes I just checked and it has an i7-4820k. Thanks for clearing any concerns I had about this upgrade.
