I have two Samsung SSD hard drives 128GB (840Pro), and a 500GB (840EVO) where I need to copy a partition from one drive to occupy the entire other drive. Both drives are functioning perfectly in the Laptop they came from, as boot drives.
When I plug them into my desktop system, the ASUS UFEI BIOS sees both drives, no problem. Upon booting, from my primary system drive on this system the 500GB drive is recognized along with both partitions, but the 128GB does not show up even in the Computer Management console, or in Device Manager.
I have unplugged other drives from the Desktop system to ensure that it wasn't a lack of resources or conflict.
