Is something wrong here?

This is the rig I put together last week:

Asus DVD-RW Drive (DRW-24F1ST, S-ATA, DVDR: 24x, CD-R: 48x, E-Green, Disc Encryption II)

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz

WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive

Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard (Socket 1155, 32GB DDR3 Support, ATX, Intel Z77 Express, USB 3.0, CrossFireX Support, Dual Intelligent Processors 3)
CiT Vantage Midi Mesh Gaming Case

Corsair Builder Series CXM 500W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU

Gigabyte Geforce GTX 660 2GB

Basically, I wanted to ask if there was something wrong with any of my components here, because everything had been working fine and dandy for the week, I was experience 0 trouble. But, I was browsing the web last night and all of a sudden the computer just shut off, and when I tried boot back into the OS, my system would crash and try reboot, but the same thing would happen. I left it for the night and tried again the next day, but the computer wouldn't boot at all, and I thought my PSU may have died. I tested out my PSU by doing the paper-clip test that I found on the Corsair YouTube channel, and it was working fine, and the casefan I connected to the PSU seemed to have been working. But the problem is that my motherboard seems to be receiving power from the PSU, but it won't turn on at all. I can see the green LED on the motherboard, but when I try turn on the computer itself I get no luck. I even tried to remove everything and try turn on the motherboard and CPU, but again no luck. I can't test the motherboard with any other PSU, because I don't have one, but I just want to know what to do before I go off investing in a much more expensive PSU. Thank you.

There's a possibility that it might be the motherboard as you have tried to only turn on the motherboard and CPU while all the other components are removed?

Your PSU is great already. You might want to have your Motherboard checked.
