Can a bad LED strip do any harm?

So I'm ordering some LED strips from ebay and i was wondering, can a bad LED strip do any harm to my components?

well i dont trhink so becus its only hook up to you psu and it only providing power and it das not make you pc faster it only gives it cool light maby it makes it look cooler XD but that about it i das not make you pc faster

yeah i it coud protatly if it crash you pc becus of heating but that about it i cant do harm

well no leds dont produce much heat

hye will probbalbly be just fine if he just puts them away from anything important in his interior an makes sure they dont heat up all crazy
