hello I am almost done my list for my pc build and here is what I have.

cpu - i7-3770 (3.4ghz) with a cooler master hyper 212 evo

motherboard - Asus p8z77-v

gpu - evga gtx 760sc with acx cooling

hard drives - Plextor m6s 128gb ssd ad a 2Tb hdd

ram - 12gb ddr3 out of an hp envy desktop

psu - seasonic 650w 80+ gold certified

case - cooler master haf 912

fans - 4x 120mm cougar cf-v12hpb vortex fans.

I already have the i7-3770 from another pc but other than that I haven't orderd anything else yet. let me know if you think this is good, bad or whatever and feel free to give any suggestions for parts that might work better for the same price. I don't have a lot of wiggle room on my budget.

thanks

Considering that you already have the 3770, that build is ok.
No guarantees that the ram will be compatible, but it will not hurt to try so long as it is 1.65v or less.
I would defer on the extra fans, your case will come with some already and your parts do not need heroic cooling.
I like Samsung evo better as a ssd. 120gb fills up quickly, consider 240gb.
Love the Seasonic, but don't pay much extra for gold rating.
Like the evga GTX760.

thanks for your answer. im glad to know its an ok build. the ssd im going to get will only be used for my os and a few other important files and programs. the 2Tb hdd is for pretty much everything else

as for the fans thanks for letting me know. I worry a lot about my pc temp. I was going to put the one stock case fan on the oher side of the hyper 212 evo for a push pull method and use the cougar vortex fans for the case 2 on the front and 2 on the top/back.

while it does look promising I have had more than one bad experience with Radeon cards from a few different manufactures. for now i will stick with my 760sc
