I recently bought a zotac geforce gt 640 LP graphics card and installed it into my computer. I uninstalled the previous graphics drivers before installing the new card. I installed all the drivers given on the cd that came with the card(updated from nvidia/zotac website as needed). Everything looked good after that and I ran a game of league of legends and skyrim and it ran good. When I am not playing games and just browsing the internet, for example, occasionally the monitor will go into "power saving mode" and an audible "ding" is herd which is similar to the sound herd when unplugging a USB or my phone from the computer. The monitor goes dark for a couple of seconds and comes back on. This has only happened when I am not playing games, sometimes it rarely happens but earlier today the screen went out 3-4 times in under 2 minutes. The power supply on my rig is stated to give around 460 watts and (if I looked up the right card) it only requires about 350 watts. I have gone into the boot up settings and ran the diagnostics and it said the card and cables/monitors were fine. I also unplugged the graphics card and plugged it back in and even moved a sound card(I'm a noob if this doesn't exist I'm sorry) so the card fan had more space and would be able to cool down easier. I don't believe the card is over clocked it anything like that. I can't return the card and would like to be able to fix it because it is pretty annoying.

Computer has i7 processor around 3.4 ghz
10 GB ran
128GB solid state hard drive
2TB hard drive
