Hey everyone,

Lately I've been having random BSOD's while gaming, doesn't seem to matter which game it is. Even some pretty low-impact games. I did a clean install a few weeks ago and have still been having the issues.

I've put the .dmp files here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxoSE08v0UxLNEFOQmM2SE9BaFE/edit

if anyone can take a look and maybe give me some tips as to what might be causing it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

System Specs:

CPU/APU: i7-4770k (stock speed)

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-D3H

RAM: 2x4GB PNY XLR8

Power Supply: SeaSonic SSR-650RM

Graphics Card: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 OC 4GB

Hard Disk Drive: N/A

Solid State Disk Drive: 240GB Sandisk Extreme

Operating System: 64-bit Windows 8.1 Professional

may help providing with more info :did run any other programs when gaming like recording video.probably one of the memory stick is faulty.you can try living one memory stick and try pay the games see if your gonna get BOSD again and then do the same with another memory stick living just one in motherboard slot.

I looked at the last 5 bugchecks all of them seem to be caused by memory corruption. different places in the same file would indicate that the file is ok on disk but it is getting corrupted when copied into memory.

because of this you want to go into BIOS and turn off any overclocking (intel speed step, or turbo)
then reboot and run memtest86 to confirm that your memory system is working correctly.
(confirm your memory timings and voltages in BIOS before you test)

windows will load drivers in slightly different orders on each boot and I think you have RAM problems that cause the driver that was loaded into it to get corrupted. (results in different bugchecks on each boot, or no bugcheck if the bad spot in RAM has a driver that is not currently being used)

==========

you will want to update your chipset drivers for you CPU and any special USB chipset drivers you may have for any secondary USB chipsets. CPU chipset drivers should come from intel Look here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=20775
get the usb secondary drivers from your motherboard manufacture.

the driver LEqdUsb.sys (Logitech SetPoint Unifying KMDF USB Filter) made calls to a windows driver
the windows driver detected that it had been corrupted and called the bugcheck.

you will want to look for a update if you can find one.
system bugchecked because a core windows file was modified in memory.

(WDF Dynamic - Kernel Mode Driver Framework driver)

I have no idea why it was modified in memory but the system took it as a virus attack and shutdown.
(you might want to run malwarebytes to confirm you don't have malware)

you need to run cmd.exe as a admin (windows key+x+A)
then type
sfc.exe /scannow (this will attempt to repair your system files from the hidden backup copy)

Note: if the repair fails you have to run the dism.exe command
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth (this will attempt fix files from a trusted online source)

Thanks for the tips guys -

I installed the intel drivers, and ran malware bytes. No malware detected. I then looked for updated USB drivers and found that gigabyte had posted a hotfix for windows 8 usb compatibility - maybe that's the root cause. I also checked my logitech drivers and I've got the latest version.

I should also mention that I ran memtest a week or two ago and made it through 3 or 4 passes with no errors, so I don't think it's a memory stick issue. I'll let you guys know if this fixes it, in the meantime if you have any other ideas shoot them my way! Thanks again!

EDIT: tried installing the hotfixes, and windows update says they aren't applicable.
