CPU: i7 3770
GPU: GTX 770 2GB
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower USB 3.0 Gaming Case - White
RAM : 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
motherboard: ASUS P8H77-V LE LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard ( since I was told that a dell motherboard is crap)
Storage: 931GB Seagate ST31000524AS (SATA)
I want to add an SSD : Kingston Digital 120GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5 (7mm height) with Adapter Solid State Drive 2.5-Inch SV300S37A/120G
optical drive: HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GH82N
PSU: Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze ATX12V/EPS12V 552 Power Supply CX600M

I don't plan on overclocking at all! I want to use it for internet/gaming/homework.

I don't plan on doing SLI, maybe an upgrade in the GPU in the future..

I don't want to go over-the-top expensive, but great performance and quicker than what I have now.

am I good to go? I believe all of this is around 650 dollars... also!!!!! should I use a stock fan on the CPU for the new motherboard or do I need to get a cooler?

Solution
if you've already bought this, poor choice getting an i7 and a corsair CX PSU.

if you haven't, stick with an i5, like an i5-3340 or i5-4440 (with a compatible H87/H97 motherboard of course) or similar. unless "homework" involves 3D rendering, media editing or any CPU intensive tasks, you're much better off saving $100+ with an i5 & getting a better quality PSU. the CX is known to have a high failure rate. & no, you don't need a third party cooler, not if everything is running fine.

unless it's 2nd hand, don't know where you're getting $650 for all of that (which if it is, by all means, get it, unnecessary i7 & poor quality PSU be damned). at least in the US, an i7 already costs ~$300 & a 770 should cost around ~$270-280 with the...
