Graphics Card Over Heating in 2 minutes.

Hi, I have been using the Nvidia Geforce GTX 570 for a little over a year now, as of last night the card heats up and produces low frames. I have always had over heating problems with this card because one of the fans does not spin properly. That being said it never heats up this quickly. Two days ago i could game on it all day and be perfectly fine, but now it is heating up and crashing within 2 minutes. I did blow it out with a air compressor to get rid of the dust.
Ill take some screen shots of the temps as soon as i can.

Perhaps the faulty fan has completely stopped spinning, hence an increase in temperature? Would it be possible for you to verify? I'm just attempting to determine the cause.

To reduce your temperatures, perhaps you could use software such as MSI Afterburner "Official" to increase your GPU's fan speed. At default it's usually 40% but you could try boosting it to 60% lets say, which should reduce your temps.

Try increasing your fan speed for now as a temporary solution, otherwise I think it would be ideal for you to replace the cooler on your card; the entire cooler, including heatsink and fan with an after-market cooler or just replace the faulty fan.

After cranking the fan up pretty high, It seems to cooling down. Ill have to replace the fan, thank-you for the advice!
