GTX 770 4GB = What AMD Card?

So I'm looking for an AMD card that's equal to the GTX 770 4GB. Like I was thinking of getting a GTX 770 4GB but I'm leaning away from it. It would be $460 (Canadian) for the GTX 770. And I heard AMD cards are a way better deal. Thanks

The GTX 770 is more similar to the R9 280x, which can be had for $290 CAD. You can see a comparison of video cards at Tom's Hardware's GPU Performance Hierarchy Cart. From the cart, you'll notice the R9 290 is more similar to the GTX 780 and Titan.

As mentioned the GTX 770 is more similar to the R9 280x which is much more affordable than the R9 290; albeit the R9 290 is evidently more powerful in terms of performance. The Sapphire R9 280x can be had for $288.32, again that's CAD.

The R9 280 (not the x edition) is almost similar to the R9 280x, hence if you purchase the R9 280 you could save more funds:

I would say it's closer to the 280x. The 280x seems to outperform the 770 by a fair amount if clocked around 1100-1150MHz.
