So I am planning on upgrading my PC, I am planning to get an Asus Maximums VII Hero and an Intel i7-4790K, so I was wondering if the Corsair h100i was compatible. Looking around, I heard some people complain about Asus's motherboards, saying the cooler was loose, so I was wondering if that is actually true, and if so, what water cooler I could use (such as the kraken x61). Thanks in advance!

It would be fully compatible, but I wouldn't choose the H100i.
The Kraken X61 is the best AIO water cooler out right now, if you can afford it and you have dual 140mm fan mounts, it's an excellent choice. :)

So I wouldn't need any rubber thingies (sorry dont know what their called), it would just fit? Because other people talk about having to put in rubber thingies because the cooler is loose. As you can see, I am no tech expert.
