Need clarification for my laptop making a single low beeping sound

Hey everyone I just had something strange happen to my laptop. OK so I unplugged my laptop since the battery was at 100% and had the loud AC adapter beep go off, no problem. About 1-2 minutes after that while browsing the internet a single low beep came from my laptop. Nothing happened noticeable happened after that and I then googled for answers. Of course that just turned up horror stories of hardware failure, specifically motherboard failure, so I decided to turn to actual help here. The only beeping that I have heard from my 8 month old Acer Aspire is maybe a beep after shut down once every week in a half. Should I be concerned and if so what should I do?

Solution
There may be many software and hardware components (especially software) that may beep for various reasons. Unless you observe an issue (and can perhaps see it in Event Viewer) I would chalk it up as "unexplained".

Once, for about 6 months I lived with a strange "beep" somewhere in my house. then it went away and we assumed that whatever it was eventually ran out of batteries before we could track it down. (It was not the smoke alarms or CO2 detectors) - those are hardwired into a control panel.

In modern life (post Forrest Gump) we may perhaps say "Beeps happen!" :D

I kinda figured as much after looking through my Event Log's and came up with nothing. At most it may have been my motherboard being late at acknowledging I had unplugged it from the A/C adapter and it started running from its battery alone.

That definitely does cause a beep. :)
