Tell me anything good and bad about my build. I also need to know how my fan controller works. I know that the fans go into controller, but what does the controller plug into? It's my first build by the way. Try to keep the overall price similar to mine.

This is a little bit cheaper but with faster RAM, newer CPU, better mobo and better PSU. You cannot skimp on the PSU unless you want to risk owning a brick.

This is a much better build for similar money. It's overclockable, better cpu, better mobo, better GPU, better case with USB 3.0 and better PSU. This will keep adequately cool without extra fans. In any case a fan controller would be powered by a molex cable from the PSU.

A few thoughts on your build but to answer your question about the fan controller 1st. I don't think you need a fan controller but if you keep it, it will be powered by a molex connector from your PSU. It will slide into 1 of your 5 1/4 inch bays.
You dont need that 3rd party cooler, that will save you $35 plus you could reduce your GPU by like $30 and spend $75 to $80 on a 128 GB SSD for max speed. Other then that, good build
Kingston SSDNow V300 Series SV300S37A/120G 2.5" 120GB $69

Sorry I didn't see that you'd included OS and your permalink doesn't work. With power supplies, as a general rule you want +100w over the max load. Also you need to make sure you are buying a quality PSU, with minimal ripple etc, not something with cheap capacitors or that doesn't function well under heat or load.

alright sweet man, but i would rather have a corsair psu because of all of the brands good reviews. after that im done. and would you thing it would look good with red led fans and strips or should i just keep it bare. and do you think i will need any more fans for the case( the case comes with one).
