I have had a Crucial M4 256 GB SSD running in my system for about a year and I recently got a BSOD and had to restart my computer. Now when I restart the OS won't boot unless I hit a key, usually F2 or Escape fairly soon after the machine Posts. If I don't do this it won't boot to Windows. Other than that everything seems to work just fine after it boots up. Is there some setting that got reset that would cause this?

Solution
Sounds like the primary boot drive has been switched, or pointed to either the CD/DVD drive usually (d:) unless you assigned it another drive, or boot-able USB. This tends to happen with some systems, go into your BIOS during post (either F2 key or Del) use your arrow keys to scroll over to (BOOT) menu and look at the selections, and assign or recheck the Main HD.

See if that was the problem...
