I have AMD A8 6500. I was just wondering because one computer with the same CPU as mine is over clock able, so i know that the CPU is over clock able. This is my PC http://www.thesource.ca/estore/product.aspx?language=en...
and this is the PC that has over clock abilities, http://www.thesource.ca/estore/product.aspx?language=en...
Same specs, same everything, so that is why i was wondering, not a big deal if it isnt OC able, and if it is how would i begin to do this

Yes! You can OC that CPU.
You won't know the max frequency you will be able to get until you try and test for yourself.
Incorrect advice, pepijnownt.

This is a good guide:

Good luck!

Yes, you can overclock it, but remember to use a aftermarket cooler for that. If you overclock with the stock fan its very likely that your cpu will burn.

^ yes he will need an aftermarket cooler, but no the CPU wouldn't burn. It would just throttle.
