I was wondering if I could install a western digital caviar blue 640GB 7200RPM firmware B2 to my Dell XPS 435t. I swapped the old broken hard drive with a Samsung SSD (240) and I need more space already! If so, what cables are needed and which slots do they input. Any BIOS configuration involved? Thank you for your help.

You can install that extra hard drive. It will need power from your PSU and sata data to it. That case should have a drive cage and you should be able to slide that drive into it. Basically the same way you installed the SSD. You will need to go into disk mgmt and initialize the drive and let windows partition it. You can find videos on that easily.

How would I use them both at the same time? For say, using the starting up and most used programs on the SSD and music, movies ect..... on the Caviar?

After you setup the 2nd drive, you should just run your OS and limited programs on the SSD. Use the other drive for pictures, files and music, etc. When you save, just save those type of files to that drive. Your SSD will be labeled C: and you label the other drive with whatever letter you choose.
