Ram opinions please :D

I am confused about whether or not i could go higher, because on newegg it says 1033 1600 1866 then every other level of ram says ex: 2133(OC) and stuff like 3100 (OC) so does that mean that i can reach these levels if i overclock the RAM or can i buy RAM at said level?
If you buy faster ram, you'll have to manually set it at that speed. Chances are even with a 1600Mhz cas9 RAM, you'll still have to go into the bios to set it to that profile. If your motherboard says it'll support anything higher, then it'll support that ram. That's all.
