Windows 8.1 seems to be highly unstable in my system, any help would be appreciated, Just tell me what files to post to help you help me. Any help is appreciated.

I am averaging a crash 2-3 times a day,
I am having USB 3.0 issues
Chrome crashes to "its dead jim" constantly
the system is less than 1 month old

I would like to know what is the best way on windows 8.1 to create a more stable environment that is not constantly crashing, having issues resolving the hardware, or in general works correctly. I really am disappointed in w8.1 and will look to downgrade to w7 if this continues to be such a headache. (and thats its own headache seeing as I will have to move all my files to backup and reinstall the programs I have).

Solution
A solution I found after crashing multiple times on different games was updating the BIOS. You may have already done that, but if you haven't it's a quick and easy fix
