Hello forums I'm here to ask for your help.

I'm constructing a desk with the PC built inside of it and need to know how to get the USB ports to the surface of the desk.

One idea I had was cut a rectange for each USB (or any input e.g. HDMI) onto the side of the desk and use an extension to place it there, this would use a lot of wires though.

Then I had the idea of buying a cheap 7port or 10port USB hub and mounting it in the desk. I figured this wouldn't look as clean.

I like the hub idea, but not sure how to make it seem like it's natively built into the desk itself, not a whole cut out to place a hub.

Any ideas will be apprecieated.

use something like this http://www.cableorganizer.com/surface-raceways/
or make a table within the table.you are going to make like a see through table to see the compnents why dont have something like a black glossy glass surface and all the wires going unred it hidden. and have cuttings so you can bearly pass the cabbles you need.and affter put led lighting stipes all around the corners hidden with a dimmer so you can get the right lighting for it.

That may work, but I don't really need USB 3.0, gonna look for something like that with more ports for 2.0.

@JOHNN93

Thanks, that's a possible way to organize all the extentions if I go with that option
