FPS drop in Stressful Situations

As the title of the tread says, I get very noticeable framerate drops whenever I am in a very stressful enviornment during my games. The main games I play are WoW and League of Legends. If I am running a 5-man or doing arena, bg's in wow my fps is fine (60+). I could probably even turn my settings on ultra and hardly notice a fps drop. When there is not a whole lot of stress my graphics seem to be just fine, but when I do a 25 man raid or sit in a major city there is a huge drop in my fps (about 19-25). The same goes for League of Legends when I am farming a lane, fps is stable, teamfights breakout, very choppy. I am trying to determine what is bottlenecking my pc. I'm not an expert on pc hardware by any means so any advice would be amazing. I'm not overclocking anything at all, but am willing to do so. What should I replace? or should i just build a new pc?

Here is my current rig:

CPU: AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285

RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145291

Originally bought 4GB for this machine, now running with 8GB ^^^

I'm sure there are tons of these threads but I am getting desperate for some help. If I need to post more info about my machine plz let me know. Thanks for your help in advance!!!

Solution
It's completely normal for FPS to fluctuate dramatically in demanding scenarios. There is nothing wrong with your PC.
Make sure you have the latest Nvidia drivers installed, the latest BIOS for your motherboard, and all of your motherboard drivers.
Also make sure your temps are okay. You can check them using HWmonitor, it will tell you the max CPU and GPU temps. Keep it running while you're gaming, and check back and tell us what your max temps are.

If you'd like a big boost in gaming performance, You'll need a new, more powerful GPU like a GTX 770.
Best of luck! :)
