DNS lookup failed on windows XP

Dear All,

My laptop gets connected to WiFi but when I open any site it says "this webpage is not available". In the details it says "DNS lookup failed". My laptop has windows XP. I am a novice in computers but I want to solve this problem. So all u intelligent people please help.

Open up a command prompt as admin

ipconfig<space>/flushdns

To clear DNS cache.

Also check you IP settings, that the gateway and DNS are pointing to the IP address of your router.

Also reboot the router/modem to ensure clean network settings.
