Not able to connect to wifi

Hi,
Am trying to connect my laptop to wifi, my laptop is able to detect all wifi available, but after pressing connect am getting error, " windows was unable to connect to 'wifi name' "
I checked drivers and adapter, hardware related every thing is present and enabled, still i am not out of trouble , kindly help me out .

That network might have some additional security measures in place, like MAC restrictions, even if it looks unsecured. If it is secured, the correct password has to be input, as well. If everything is knows and applied, something like a CAPS LOCK can throw a wrench into the authentication process.

actually all my friends are using that wifi without any issue,In order to check that if issue is related to compatibility of my wifi with my laptop i tried to connect to different wifi as well but got same error.
