So my mobo has 3 system fan headers, however I want 5 fans in my system. Here's my query, the nzxt comes with fan control built in and i'm confused as to how to install it. Does the fan get power through the psu via a molex connection and the fan connects to the fan controller? Do the fans being controlled by the fan controller still plug into the motherboard? Does anyone have a guide on this such as a video as i'm extremely confused as to how i will set up the fans with the fan controller!

Solution
Plug in 3 on your Motherboard. The rest I would use the fan controller, plug in the molex power connector from the PSU and plug in the 2 fans to the supplied PWM inputs. The fans connected to the fan controller don't need to be connected to the motherboard.

Those 2 will be controlled by the top mounted fan controller switch. Control the other 3 via BIOS or a fan control software.
