I have a SteelSeries Merc Stealth Keyboard (USB Gold Plated) in which when I play some heavy games like for example Battlefield 3, it continuously flickers on and off making gameplay impossible. This is because I have no control on my character, and keeps performing the last pressed key for example moving forward.
This flickers all the time, for example every 2-3 seconds and it sometimes loses power for a fraction of a second or even for a full second.
I had a UPS back in the days, but I removed it because I thought it was affecting it. Now even without it, it still behaves the same.
When I exit the game and the load sorta decreases, full power and control comes back to the Keyboard meaning no flickering.
Could it be the Voltage? I know I live in a voltage sensitive area. or could it be either the PSU / MoBo?
Specs:
CPU: i7 920 2.66 GHz with Corsair H100 Watercooler
RAM: 16GB 1066 Mhz DDR3 Corsair
PSU: 850W Corsair TX 90% Efficiency
GPU: GTX760 EVGA
MoBo: P6TSE Asus
SSD: 256 GB Samsung 830
HDD: Western Digitial 2TB Green Power Saving
Thx
