I'm planning to buy a new vga, but the problem is, I have a rather low quality psu, ISO-480PP 420W. Which vga would you recommend? My system specs are:
CPU: Intel E5200 Dual-Core 3,2GHz
MOBO: Foxconn G31MX-K
RAM: 2GB DDR2 800MHz
HDD: 160GB
I play on 1366x768 resolution.

Please note that I'm running on a low budget so I can't afford a new psu or other parts. I was thinking of the HD 5800 or 6800 series but those consume too much. Thanks for the help in advice.

Maybe the GTX 750 or 750Ti.

Yep, 750Ti. What's your budget? We might be able to work out a psu + vga for you

About 100 dollars, but it's likely that I'm going to buy a second-handed vga.

For 100 dollars you can get the GTX 750 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

You're right to think that your PSU can't be trusted with the GPU's you mention.

Is there any chance you could save a little bit more for the 750Ti? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... it will be noticably better than the 750

there's also the R7 260X but it has a higher power consumption than the 750Ti and slightly lower performance http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

This is a very good card (GTX 650), I have the same one but ecxept it's the 2GB Overclocked edition, I'm running any game from skyrim to titanfall and alot of stuff I'm sure it will run like that as well you can run mostly any steam game like Planetside 2 on high and Dayz on Medium-High settings it's a small good little card for the price it's worth trying out but if you don't like it it's always good to return within 30 days from buying from amazon. Also I'm sure it will run on a 420watt as I'm running it on a Corsair CX 430 Builder series.

plywrlw: It'd be fine, but I'm from Europe, Hungary I just written my budget in USD because I saw thats the most popular currency around here... :$ Problem is that if you order something from the USA, that means 25% more because of the tax and a big shipping cost in addition.

The 650 performs much worse than the R7 260X and consumes the same amount of power. His non-descript PSU probably doesn't supply its rated wattage and most likely has all it's current on the 3.3 and 5V rails. Even your CX is likely much better.

Ah that's cool, I'm the UK. Let me know some Hungarian websites or at least European ones you can order from and your Hungarian budget and I'll find something. Prices in the USA are always better than in Europe too grrr!

I've had a look at a website someone recommended on this forum. The R7 250X is in your budget, it performs better than the GTX 650 and has lower power consumption, perfect for your computer. Here's a link http://www.argep.hu/main.asp?sucheall=r7+250X&sort=prei...
