I'm a newbie as you can tell. So I've plugged in my new gtx 660ti. It came with a 6pin that I plugged into the card itself. On the end of the 6 pin are 2 connectors each with 4pins. There are no visible ways to plug these into my psu. There is only 1 slot free i can plug it into and this is a random connector on the end of a wire coming from the psu. Extremely baffled.

You shouldn't really need to use that cable that came from your gpu. Your power supply should have these cables already.
What psu do you have?

I would suggest not using your gpu. Get a proper power supply like EVGA 600B.

What I'm holding are the two I need to plug into. On the end of these us the 6pin i plugged into gpu. Where I'm pointing is the only place I can plug only 1 of these 4 pins into.

Yes those are the molex connectors. But if your power supply doens't have a 6 pin PCIE then you should really get a better psu.

Yeah I agree with you. I'll wait till I get the corsair 600cx. No point risking it anyway on a budget psu.

I would get EVGA 6000B over a CX 600.
