So I have this offer for a used 2500k for 95€ and a 3570 (NOT 3570k) for 100€ both have boxes and everything so I was wondering wich one would go better with my AMD Radeon HD 7870!

Thank you for your help!

2500K can be overclocked to achive better performance than the 3570. But overclocking requires better cooling and a Z motheboard. The 3570 is easier option. The 2500K is the more "adventurous", but requires cooling a certain type of a motherboard. What is your motherboard.

At stock the 3570 would be better, as it has faster stock speeds and a newer architecture. The 2500k would be better if you plan to overclock, as it has an unlocked multiplier.
