I want to buy a cpu and I dont know if I want a i3 4330 or a G3258. If i buy a g3258 then I can have a better gpu. Will the i3 4330 or the g3258 be able to keep up with the 780ti? Wich one is better???
If you're buying a Z97 board and a cooler for the G3258 and overclock it as high as it will go, it'll perform better than the i3.
If you don't overclock the Pentium, it will bottleneck a 780ti in every game, by a LOT. The i3 however shouldn't bottleneck it much, at least in GPU intensive games.
I say go for the i3, you won't need to buy an expensive motherboard and cooler.
Hope I've helped!
Many motherboard manufacturers are releasing BIOS for there cheaper chipsets (H81, B85, etc.) that allow you to overclock your cpu without a Z97 board. I know ASUS and MSI both have a few of these about. As Alex said the pentium overclocked will generally outperform the i3 when overclocked.

And i3 and a Pentium G3258 Will bottle neck a 780Ti severely especially if it is a CPU bound title which takes advantage of more physical cores
