Hi guys did not update my tread from my last update. Anyway

Spec

- Intel Croe i7 4960x 4.5Ghz @ 1.3v
- Asus Rampage IV Black Edition
- 2 x 4Gb Corsair Vengence 1600Mhz
- Corsair H100i with Corsair SP120 Fans on 12v
- Corsair AX860i
- GTX 780Ti Windforce @ 1200Mhz
- 2 x Samsung 840Pro RAID 0
- Crucial 960gb SSD
- 500gb 5400Rpm HDD

I'm not sure If I will be able to run 2133Mhz with the over-clock I have. I have heard that a "high" O.C. can limit the speed at which the memory can run at without a lot of time being put into fine tuning the O.C. on both memory and CPU.

Solution
Need a LOT more info about your setup. Not sure what you're actually asking either.

In general, in most modern systems, the RAM speed can be set separate from the CPU speed.
Try it.
But, in general faster ram speeds come with higher cas numbers which tend to negate any real app performance boost.
Also, higher speed ram may add heat to your oc.
For an intel cpu, ram speeds make little difference.
More so for amd and for integrated graphics from either/

I have heard that any overclock on the RAM over 1600 MHZ makes little to no difference in game performance.

The best bet is to overclock CPU and GPU and just keep RAM stock.

Personally I have tried this with dominator vengance RAM and after getting a stable overclock on the RAM it made no difference to my gaming.

There some articles about this and they state it is not worth the hassle. DDR4 is out now however and if you are rich it might be worth upgrading haha.
