Oke I now there is much to read about overclocking this cpu, but after a lot of testing I wanted to share my settings with you so maybe it will help 1 of you.

The settings that you see below are the settings for the Asus Sabertooth z87, And of course I may have different memory speed then you do.

First let me tell you that my settings are No guarantee that your cpu/mobo can do the same, but maybe it can help you.

Seccond I have to tell you that I have a Engineering sample cpu, that overclocks very well with low vcore, down side of this is that mine will produce maybe more heat than yours.
So you have to see what your cpu needs for voltage.

I did/don't run stress test for hours as most people say you have to do.

The way I test for stability is this.

I run 20 runs of intel burn test, settings very high at least.
I run 20 minutes of linx64 at all mem.
I run aida64 for about 20 minutes.
I DON"T run prime95 at haswell.
Then I do a couple of cpu benchmarks like.

real bench 2.2 - 5 loops.
Cinebench r15 - 3 runs.
Blackhole 3 times.

After that I play a couple of games I have installed, In my case that's call of duty ghost, and battlefield 4.

I know everybody will do it on his way, and the say you have to run it altleast 4 hours or more, but this is the way I do it, and on all cpu,s I had it never failed me, so why change what is good.

My settings that I describe here are the settings during stress testing.

ratio 46
llc level 6
power phase control optimized.
cpu current capability 120%
internal pll overvoltage enabled
vcore bios 1.20v
cpu input voltage 1.8v
cpu spread disabled
memory at xmp profile 2133mhz vcore and timings manual set.
Eist and c-states enabled, Disabled during stress testing.

After I now its stable I change the vcore to adaptive vcore and enable all the power options, and set llc to auto.

I now this is not all written in good English but I think you can all understand it.
Hope that it will help somebody, but is not so be it, I just wanted to share it with you.

Yes I now that there can be a lot of difference, but its more about the rest of the settings I used on the bord, like I say, the vcore I maybe very different than the normal cpu,s, but the probably wont get that hot.
