Motherboard-I can't really decide on a motherboard...looking to overclock once I figure it out so need a z97 board between 100-150 dollars that is good for ocing and has the most features.

GPU-Is the 780 really worth the atleast 180 dollars plus compared to the superclocked acx 770...if so which series of the 780 should I get?

Is there anything you guys think I should change on my build...open to any recommendations considering this is my first build. Thanks

Nice build!

No problems that i've noticed. I don't know if XFX PSU are good enough, but that one is gold certified, so i think is ok.

Hm, I'd say go for a r9 290 or even a r9 290x, you can get it for about the same price, usually better performance, and you get AMD's True Audio and Mantle, which consoles use and devolepers will use it to optimize the performance for consoles, which means it'll probably give you a performance boost (up to 45% in bf4 for example) in games which support it.

So idk if you prefer nvidia for some reason, eh go for it, nice build!

if hes just gaming 12gb ram is not needed and can cause problems. And like i said getting a r9 290 would best to save most money the r9 290 just has like 300 less shader core which can be overcomed with a good overclock.

Best 780 is either the matrix platinum, lightning or the inno3d dhs edition
