EVGA Gtx 760 2gb SLI vs EVGA 780ti 3GB

I'm thinking about selling my current setup for a 780ti. Would I lose performance by doing this? can I run sli 780ti on a 650 watt PSU?

  1. I would guess two 760's in SLI would outperform a single 780ti. You will have no chance of running two 780ti's in SLI with a 650W PSU, you will definitely need something bigger.
  2. The performance would be pretty much the same in games that scale well with SLI and much better in games that don't scale well with SLI.

As for your second question, no, running GTX 780Ti SLI is not possible on a 650W PSU.

Two 760's in SLI will outperform a single 780ti by a noticable difference if the game is properly optimised for SLI. And no matter your setup, 650w would not cut it for SLI 780ti. If you want to be in the safe zone get a 80+ gold certified 800-850w. This will leave lot's of room for overclocking or anything else that you might change in your system.

EVGA Supernova G2 850w has an excellent score on Jonny guru. 9.9/10.
