Hello I wanted to know if there is a difference between these two sinks and temperature as you are with them? I tell you now that it will be mounted with a procio amd then warm as a furnace
---Corsair h100i
---Noctua nh-D14
And you do not tell me that a liquid is megli because it is almost never the case

More about : liquid air

corsair h100i is quiet and has superior performance- just make sure your case can accommodate the large radiator. Highly recommend this cooler if you can fit it in!

You must be unfamiliar with Noctua, the NHD14 is quieter than the H100i and the temperature difference is less than 10° under full load.

That is, do you mean that those 10 degrees of difference between who?

the phanteks or the noctua are just as good as any boxed $100 h110i or whatever... were talking about a 2c temp difference and a 2db noise difference but cost only $80 at most and you dont have to deal with maintaining the water cooler every six months.

after that if you want to spend $200 on a decent d5 pump and a 240rad so you can get an extra .4ghz out of a chip, well thats your choice, kinda just bragging rights, and it can be "fun" to toy around and see how far a chip will go... but you better already have the highest tier cpu one would reasonably need. i kinda lol at people who pay $250 for a good water cooler for their 4670k when for few bucks more they could have just got a 4930k with a hyper 212 and beat the pants off a 4670k all without dealing with exotic voltages and time consuming tweaking to hit 5.0ghz.

It depends on your end goals regarding whether you'll be overclocking or not you may need to read this before making a decision?

Go for the noctua dh 14, the h100i only beats it by 1 or 2 degrees, at nearly twice the price

the phanteks is better than the noctua by about 1c and 1db… its also cheaper right now… plus it looks better and it comes in black red or blue if your trying to match colors.

If you want something that beats the H100i, there's the NH-D15, probably the best air cooler there is. But it also costs $100 just like the h100i. The NH--D14 would be my choice in this situation, or the phanteks posted above.

yes the d15 is the new king, but does cost an extra premium over the d14 or phanteks. i see the noctua and phanteks jockey for prices position often…. at the $60-70 price point, i don't see much reason for $100 water unless you have a rig that you need to move around. the noctua/phanteks are very heavy and it is not recommended to move your rig around much since they weight much more than most motherboard recommend as the maximum gram weight of the mounted cooler. cant tell you how often I've heard of people taking their rig to a buddies house only to find the cooler completely snaped off the mobo rendering the whole thing useless.
