hyper t4 any good?

I'm wondering if i should get a hyper t4 to cool an 8300 when it comes out and maybe do some overclocking could anyone recommend this cooler? if so how good does it perform?

I have a 212 evo but i have failed 3 times now trying to mount the thing and its especialy tricky with corsair vengeance ram so i am looking for an alternative and this cooler won't fit over corsair vengeance ram either i just noticed

You should be able to lift the fan up a bit, or mount the fan on the other side.. It's a little bit of work and may not perform quite as well - but should still be better than stock cooling.

You can probably figure something out unless you are using a really small case etc.

when i try to screw in one screw then try and screw in another it doesnt reach even with pressure.

Ok. Sounds like you don't know how to install it properly. You cannot tighten one screw all the way down. You need to partially tighten one a little then immediately tighten the other side. Did you install the backplate even?

Try re-reading the manual.

also when i lay the mounting bracket down flat on a table i can tell 1 or 2 of the screws don't even reach the table.
