Ok so right now I run a 6850, I recently upgraded my CPU to an FX-8320, I already overclocked it to 8350 speeds so my CPU is fine. Just wondering where to go with the GPU upgrade, would like to spend between $100-$200. I have a 500 watt Corsair PSU. I've been looking at the r9 270 just dont know how much of a performance boost they'll be. I also dont want to spend money on something that will bottle neck my CPU, or something that my CPU bottle necks. Just basically looking for the best price to performance ratio with my set up.
Best upgrade from an HD6850 2GB while using a FX-8320?

The R9 270 is a good choice and matches the CPU. However if you have a bit more money to spend, I recommend going for a 270x. Anyways, the 270 is a good choice within a budget.

Like all things in life, there are tradeoffs. The R8 280 tends to run hotter, consumes more power and is plagued by AMD's subpar drivers. If you can live with that, then R9 280 it is. Hehe
