Asus PB278Q and computer crashing/Freezing when playing at 2560 x 1440

I having problems with something in my computer I don't know if its the graphics card or something else causing this I updated all the drives on everything but it still doesn't work :(
My system specs are:
GPU: ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770k@ 3.5GHz
MEMORY: 16GB RAM
DISPLAY: ASUS PB278Q 60Hz
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 8.1 Pro
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Z87-DELUXE/DUAL
HARD DRIVES: 2TB Seagate, 3TB Seagate

    and the Model is CL-700B

    If I was a betting man, I'd would say that's your culprit there. When building a high end gaming system, you should try to get a quality PSU from a respectable manufacturer. Your Cool Max PSU is not up to the job.

    If you need a suggestion for a new PSU, the EVGA Supernova G2 750W is a good example of a quality unit. 80 PLUS Gold, Full modular and backed by a 10 year warranty.

  11. ok well I finally got a power supply but I went with a 1000w power supply and I still got the same problem, any suggestions?
