Recovered JPEG files wont open

Hello,
My computer crashed and I had a lot of pictures on it. I pulled the hard drive out of it and connected it to my Seagate external hard drive. I used ICare data recovery and pulled all my jpeg files off the hard drive. Now the jpeg files open but there is nothing there. Does anyone have any suggestion. Thanks a ton.

What do you mean when you say that you connected your internal (?) HDD to a Seagate external HDD? Did you install the internal HDD inside a Seagate enclosure? If so, then be aware that Seagate's 3TB+ external drives are configured with 4KB sector sizes. If you install a 512e formatted HDD inside a 4Kn enclosure, the data will be inaccessible. You would need to attach the drive to a SATA port on your computer's motherboard or find a 512e enclosure.
