can screen tearing occurs while aero theme is on????

my pc config is

Intel Core i3 540 @ 3.07GHz
4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Intel Corporation DH55PJ (XU1)
465GB Seagate ST3500418AS ATA Device (SATA)
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50 ATA Device and
zotac gtx 6502gb gddr5 128bit graphic card and my monitor is AOC t2242we monitor while m using widows basic m not getting tearing and while using aero theme i m getting tearing while dragging my mouse from left to right a blue colour selection appears and there the tearing appears in windows explorer and why was that comming while aero theme is on??????

Seems like graphic card fault. Can you remove the graphic card and try connecting to the motherboard integrated card to see if the tearing or blue trail occurs?

ya i removed and inserted again no changes..... i m not getting tearing while playing games by making vsync to adaptive and the games run excellent on my graphics card with out tearing then what is d problem wid my graphics card brooo the games running excellent only in windows explorer and in picassa i m getting tearing dont knw why?????

Try to underclock the graphic card and see if it helps. Also try overclocking it.

thz z good idea but i m having a small doubt is there any problem with my hdmi cable m using hdmi vable as video output is that cable causing tearing.......???

IF it would have been the cable it would have caused tearing everywhere not some specific places.

Huh it seems you are right screen tearing is a normal problem in geforce 600 series and the only solution people have found is forcing vsync on every application and trying to increase the refresh rate to above 60.
