I have hp 15-d103tx i4200m, 4gb 1600mhz, nvedia 820m 2gb graphic card. how to improve graphic performance of laptop. i can upgrade ram to 8 gb if necessary. is there any manufacturer in market which makes external graphic card for laptops

laptops are so complicated , you can't just replace anything you want . A system ram can be replaced as its not built in the motherboard just like most graphics cards . Most laptops either rely on APUs ( Like AMD's A6/8/10 series ) or they have discrete mobile graphics cards that sadly can't be replaced so basically you're stuck with your Graphics Card till you buy a new laptop.

A little secret buying a laptop from Best Buy, Newegg, Tiger Direct the chances are the graphics card is part of the mobo. Some vendors that you can configure online will allow multiple graphics cards. I know Alienware and MSI some models will allow you to upgrade memory, HD's, processor and Graphics processor. Also retail place that build laptops like Xotic PC will allow you to a choice of all those components. Some systems will allow you to upgrade components but getting to the component you want to replace aren't as assessible. (meaning you have to remove other stuff to get to the component. Example the Alienware 18 has 2 memory slots visible by removing the back cover but the other 2 slots require you to remove the keyboard. :(
