I have a aluminium radiator and waterblock so Is it worth water cooling with a aluminium water block and aluminium radiator?
The other option is for me to custom make a copper water block and use an old heater core from a car I have? Which would be better? Could I use a custom copper water block with the aluminium radiator?

From my understanding, copper and aluminum will cause pretty bad corrosion (probably even with corrosion inhibitors). Go all copper if you can, or all aluminum if you must. Either way, try to mix as few metals as possible.

A copper block will perform far better!

What radiator do you have? Are the tubes made out of aluminium too? Or just the fins? Aluminium and copper together in one loop will cause corrosion on the long run!

The radiator is all just a cheap all aluminium ebay radiator. I suppose since I have the aluminium components I might as well use them but I really want to know if it is worth cooling with all aluminium since I already have a good air cooler. Going full copper is either going to be to difficult or cost too much

My advice would be a no-no for a heater core, use the aluminum radiator if that's the case and copper is always better so try to find a copper water block and radiator if possible, if not then an aluminum radiator is still better than a car's heater core.
