Gaming gear or software?

Allo Chaps!

Quick question...So I am going to spend 484$ on flight simming...or am I? It was my initial plan but now that I have more cash I was gonna get another piece of software for 130$...its a really nice airplane...If I dont get that I will have about 154 to spare....so would it be better if I used that on hardware for the PC or software for the sim?

I could get a G500s and a nice mechanical keyboard with that cash....Or a nice mouse and headset but keyboard is more important and cant get a great headset for -50 so I would get a gaming mouse and keyboard...what sounds better? Improving my simming by getting the fsx plane of my dreams, the PMDG 777 or improving the keyboard and mouse which I will use at some points during simming such as mouse to look around and keyboard for some keys that I cant program to the yoke.

So? Thanks

Oohhh... hmm for 154$ you could go alot better.

Get a 70$ keyboard:http://www.amazon.com/Tt-eSPORTS-Poseidon-Illuminated-KB-PIZ-KLBLUS-01/dp/B00HZE2PJS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407219946&sr=8-1&keywords=cherry+blue+keyboard

Friend has used it. Blue's are a bit noisy, but I like that. Go for that, this mouse which is only 50$ and has a great sensor and build quality. you are left with only 20$

Can you save up some more?

Save up 50$ and get this headset.

I have used it and it is great! For gaming it gives a decent amount but not too much bass, comfy, good mids and highs, decent lows, and not fatiguing to listen to. Look for discounts on the flight sim stuff!

Hmmm... hardware for sure. Go for a cmstorm quickfire rapid. I love browns and this is known for being great!

also, for your headset don't go for 50$ headset. The only difference between a 5$ and a 50$ headset are the looks. Save up around 100$ and get a pair of audio technia ath m-50 and a decent odac. Seriously, might aswell spend all the $$ on a headset and save up for a new keyboard/mouse

Hmmm, do you flight sim a lot? If you use the software more than you play other games with a mouse and keyboard, go for software. Just a bit expensive in my opinion, and you won't be able to use it till the pc is back
