If you just bought this board there should be no reason or need to update the bios. Besides that pick 64bit. The only reason to use a 32bit OS today is if you are running on old hardware or are needing to run really old software.

EDIT: As a note some newer high end boards allow you to update via USB without a CPU. This board doesn't allow that. And usually the only reason you would want to update the BIOS is if your motherboard doesn't support a CPU you are planning to install into it. Anyways just remember to install a CPU from the support list found here -> http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4311#

In that case download the bios from Giga-byte's site (F6) and extract it to a flash drive from what I saw your motherboard supports Q-Flash which should allow you to update the bios through a Flash drive that is formatted as FAT16 or FAT32. According to the manual on the site just hit the end key when the computer starts and follow the prompts.

Here is some info on how to update your BIOS. It also contains an explanation on how to put the BIOS on the USB drive.
