I currently have two monitors set up into my xfx r700 ghost series video card Core Radeon 7870 1000M 2GB d52XmDP. One is a VGA but I used a DVI adapter so its VGA to DVI into my card. The other (I bought this one afterwards so I just got the adapter with it) is a DVI that I got an HDMI adapter for so its DVI to HDMI into my card. Confusing, I know. My 3rd monitor is a LCD TV with only an HDMI port. I used that with a mini display port adapter but I can only keep 2 of them on at the same time. My graphics card has 1 hdmi port, 2 mini display, 1 dvi and another dvi-d i think is what it's called. I'm at a total loss on how to set this up. If there's anyway you could help I would really appreciate it. I posted this same thing in the wrong category so I'm rectifying that by posting it here as well.

One HDMI, One DVI and one thru the MDP.....
You'll need an Active MDP to whatever port converter (adapter) and not a passive one....

I'm sorry what is an MDP and how would I get an "active" one. Which of the three monitors can accomplish that or what will I have to purchase?

MDP is Mini Display Port, you said you have 2 of them on the card.
You need to check the AMD website for working Active Mini Display adapters with their cards, you can get them from .... anywhere provided they are compatible.
Yes, you will have to purchase the adapter.
See, your tele only has an HDMI input, so, the Cards HDMI port can be connected to that.
Here is an example of an adapter (Active) MDP to DVI(F)

It would be helpful if you could send us the link to the card that you have if it's not this one

So if I put my HDMI tv into the HDMI port, the VGA-DVI into the DVI port and the DVI into an active DVI-MDP ? This is the card I have. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

because my DELL is only DVI/VGA and that one is currently DVI into the HDMI port of my card. I have my AOC which is ONLY vga which is VGA into my DVI port of my card. So I just want to confirm that you want me to put my HDMI TV into the HDMI port and get a DVI -active MDP because the MDP will be going into the card not the monitor. The monitor must be DVI.

Dell E2414H 24" Widescreen LED Monitor
AOC E2343FK 23" Ultra Slim LED Monitor
Emerson LF320EM4 32" is what im currently having trouble connecting

I have full VGA-VGA cords (useless no vga port on card)
I have HDMI-HDMI cord
I have DVI-HDMI cord
I have VGA-DVI adapter
I have HDMI -MDP (rocketfish) adapter
I don't know what else I can include.

OK, firstly lets get the POV straight, when we look at the connectivity of any equipment , we look from the POV of the transmitting equipments side, thus, you may be looking at the monitors when your pc or tele is working but they are driven by the card, so, everything starts from that card and it's ports.
All adapters have to be from the POV of the card, that means, the available ports on your GPU - The Port you need to convert to (tele, monitor, projector etc)
If any of the monitors or telly had an MDP port , we'd not be using an adapter....
Your card has, 2 DVIs (Different albeit) 1 HDMI and 2 MDP (s).
You need to connect 3 monitors, so that means you'll need one HDMI cable (HDMI-HDMI) , one DVI-DVI cable, and one MDP-DVI/VGA/HDMI active adapter, which ever monitor you plan to connect to it and the corresponding cable.

Since the telly has and HDMI, we leave it to the HDMI port on the card, Since the Dell has a DVI port we connect the DVI on the card to the DVI on the Dell
NOW Finally the third monitor is an AOC having just one VGA port, so now since you are left with just MDP (s) on the GPU and VGA on the monitor, it would be logical just to use a MDP-VGA Active Adapter, certified by AMD.

or

I have used the Accell one and have been pretty happy with it, can't complain.... so I'd go for it.

BUT this is MDP to VGA and not DVI, make sure you get the Cables right with the monitors...
