Hello everyone

I recently built a new desktop, so far everything has been working just fine until this morning when I went to turn my computer on it would not power up, no lights no nothing. After systematically pulling out everything one by one to see if it would power on I was left with just the motherboard and the battery. I pulled out the battery and waited a minute before putting it back in. After I did this the computer powered up. I plugged everything back in and turned the computer back on. After changing which device to boot from in the BIOS I loaded into windows7.

Everything seems to be working fine however every time I try to access Google chrome, league of legends or iTunes I received errors about not being able to connect to the servers. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm a little lost.

Thanks in advance

Yeah, that sounds like the device getting somehow disabled, if switching ports fixes it. I would suggest testing other working USB devices there just to make sure that particular port didn't fail, if that's a concern.

Sorry not sure how to tell I'm not all that savvy. I know that my adapter is set up to obtain an IP Address automatically.

Just moved the adapter to a different USB port, forgot the network and re-added it. Google Chrome seems to be working now.
