Strange Wireless problem

Hi,

I have a strange connectivity issue. I'm using a TL-WR1043ND router with a pppoE link and 12 wireless devices connected. I have enabled the MAC-Filtering and all these 12 devices are allowed to connect to the network. My laptop model is Acer v3-571G.

Now the problem is, I am having hard time connecting my laptop to this network. My laptop's MAC is allowed to connect. My laptop when connecting to the wireless network gives an error "windows was unable to connect to ssid". After 10 or 15 min, it gets connected. Only once in about 25 times my laptop connects to the network at the first attempt. Other times I'll have to wait for sometime or constantly try connecting to the network again and again.

I do not have this problem in my laptop with any other network (I tried connecting with at least 5 other network). and there is no problem in the router with the other 11 devices. So I don't know whether this is a router problem or laptop problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Things that I've done:

1) I tried re-installing the drivers of my WLAN card.
2) Upgraded the firmware of the router.
3) Made a hard reset of the router, and configured all the settings again.
4) Re-installed windows 7 in my laptop.
5) Tried with wired connection. Had no problems with wired connection.
6) I wanted to know if there was any problems with dhcp, but since I'm not connected to the network, I'm not assigned with any IP.
7) I even tried setting up a static IP, but no use.

In such a case check out what any other device uses the router has its wi-fi transmission set to in speed.
Then simply go to your control panel and your wireless adapter, right click on it and select properties.

Have a look at what the settings are set to in there.
For the speed and standard type in use.
If set to auto set it to the known speed that you know the rest of the devices work at.

My laptop has Atheros AR5BWB22 wireless card; and I cannot find the speed (transmision rate) option. Pl. refer the image below.

As far as the standard, both devices uses 802.11n.

I'm not sure if it prioritizes, but my laptop's MAC is the first entry.

Also I checked adding MAC of new devices and connecting, all the devices are connecting to the network. This problem is driving me crazy.

I'm afraid I cannot do that. Other people won't let me. Anyways I can try this in the weekend I guess!
Will update the result after I do this.
