Connected no internet acces and limited sign

I have read all the other info on here and many other sites. But I'm running out of time and patience especially. ( posting from my phone before all the stupid questions start)




So here it goes! I'm trying to use my new Lenovo s4000 that has the Qualcomm atheros ar9485 wireless as network adapter. Dlink 815 as my router and yourlink as provider.
Running windows 8

Even using Ethernet I can't get onto web pages. The only way I can use internet on it is by hot spotting my phone$$$. Can someone please help me.

As a secondary measure you could move your router to a more open spot and possibly up higher as well, this decreases your chance of the signal getting disturbed by something such as a wall etc
Not sure what the height does, just read that somewhere.

I recently did this and my router seems to be more reliable.
