Metro: Last Light HORRIBLE performance

Whenever I start up Metro: Last Light, everything seems to run at 60fps. Then, in the opening scene (as soon as the dark ones come in) my frame dips below 20fps. Unplayable for me, obviously. I am using standard high settings, and SSAA turned off. I've tried to disable Advanced PhysX, but the PhysX option is not showing up in my Nvidia Control Panel.

I'm using an i5-4670k @ 3.6Ghz, GTX 770 OC 2GB and 8GB of DDR3 @ 1600Mhz.

No this does not happen in any other game. My PSU is a Corsair CS650M. And before you go further; my PSU is just fine. My CPU is at stock speed, and there isn't anything that is bottlenecking my GPU. I'll try to reinstall PhysX to see if that makes a difference.
