I am not familiar with the device you are referring to. There are plenty of 2.5" drive enclosures to do what you speak of, but it is not a good idea. SSDs are high-speed devices and can nearly max out a 6Gbps SATA III connection. Putting one behind a USB connection is just a waste of a SSD.
If at all possible, use the SSD as your OS drive and install games on it. Use your mechanical drive for media and hoarding files and connect that to your USB port if you're using a laptop.
