Hi guys,
Like the title says.. i have 2 SDD's both are Samsung 840 Evo (120gb & 250gb) and when i mounted them on my system case (Zalman MS800 Plus) i started having BSOD.. the first one's were easy to fix but after that they were too much and causing troubles to stability of the system.. so i mounted them on the Hot Swap Bay that came with the Case (its says HDD Hot Swap Bay) and everywere i look i only see people mounting on the bracket.. i tried Zalman support but that was...... 0 answers so i'm asking here if anyone knows if is it possible to mount the SDD Disk on the HDD Hot Swap Bay providede in the Zalman MS800 Plus

Thanks for any answers.

Best Regards,

using hot swap bay with SSD has no issue ..the only issue would me if your board doen't support it. try entring your BIOS and set your SATA port to hot swap.

My board it's an MSI Z97 Gaming 5... I had it placed on Hot Swap but changed after so many BSOD.. today i got 2.. but the 1st one was related with GPU (atikmdag.sys (fixed) and the 2nd memory management (fixed also) besides that already on for about 5 hours on a row. I'm only using 1 SSD on the hot swap bay at the moment and 1 HDD on a bracket, i will mount the 2nd SSD and test if all goes well, the bay uses IDE power cable is that normal!? Thanks

Thanks Again for the answer, I have the bios on 1.4b0 that's the latest on the website, also AHCI and enable on Hot swap sata port 1.. is still on since yesterday 3pm so I hope it was only a cause of wrong virtual memory size and the gpu file bug.
